Group A:

(Ages 12 to 14)*

1. An etude by one of the following composers:

2. A work by J.S. Bach chosen from the following:

• 2 or 3 part inventions
• Preludes and Fugues from the Well-Tempered Clavier
• Partita, French Suite, English Suite, (complete or 3 selected dances)
• Italian Concerto
• Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue

3. One additional work from a, b or c:

1. A classical sonata from Haydn or Mozart (complete or first movement only)
2. One piece of choice from Romantic
3. One piece from 20th/21st century periods.

*Applicants from age group A are welcome to follow the requirements of age group B (see below). 

Group B:

(Ages 15 to 17)*

1. An etude by one of the following composers:
